Momoko Momozono, often called Momochie, serves as one of the two main console operators at Dannar Base when the series begins. She is a young woman with a cheerful and energetic demeanor, known for her confidence and strong sense of dedication to her duties. Her background includes a past as an idol singer, which she left behind after a traumatic encounter with a Mimetic Beast; this experience motivated her to shift her focus toward protecting others as a mecha pilot. Despite an occasionally impulsive streak, she is deeply caring and fiercely loyal to her friends and colleagues. As the story progresses, Momoko transitions from a support role to an active combatant, eventually piloting the Alpha Tiger (also referred to as the Opera Tiger) alongside Konami Sasakure. She plays a key part in the Godannar Triple Drive, merging her mecha with Goh Saruwatari and Lou Roux when the Celleblader unit is activated. Her technical skills are highlighted when she successfully resets Godannar’s merger program during a critical moment. Momoko also has a notable connection to Goh’s recovery from the Insania virus, being the first person he sees after he is cured. Her character arc reflects growth from base operator to a capable pilot, driven by a desire to make a direct difference in the fight against the Mimetic Beasts.
