Description
Mari Tomita, known affectionately as Tom-Tom or Ton-chan, is a supporting character in Air Gear. She serves as the homeroom teacher for the main characters who make up the Kogarasumaru gang, having been a student at the same Higashi Junior High School herself. Young and cute in appearance, she has blonde hair worn in two low pigtails and a very bubbly, somewhat childish demeanor. Despite her bright and friendly exterior, she is notably naive and lives in constant, exaggerated fear of being sexually assaulted or molested by her students or random strangers, a paranoia that colors many of her interactions. This anxiety, however, does not stop her from dressing in a deliberately provocative manner.
