Mikan Noyamano is the second eldest of the four Noyamano sisters, a family that took in the protagonist Itsuki Minami. She is a member of the elite Storm Rider team Sleeping Forest, where she is known as the Wind God and is considered a King-class Wind-type Rider who follows the Gale Road. Like her sisters, she is a Gravity Child, individuals with special abilities tied to the world of Air Treks. Mikan is a tomboy with short, messy pink hair. Her personality is defined by her role as the disciplinarian of the household; she is hot-tempered, aggressive, and physically forceful, often using brute strength to punish Ikki for his misdeeds. This has earned her the nickname Female Gorilla from other characters. Despite her violent tendencies, she has a soft spot for retro video games, a weakness that the character Simca exploits to initially gain her favor. However, Mikan is perceptive and later confronts Simca directly about her true allegiances, showing a protective and discerning side. Her motivation largely centers on maintaining order within her family and supporting Sleeping Forest. Her primary relationship is with her sisters and Ikki, whom she helped shape physically through rough wrestling-style training since his childhood. She also enjoys teasing her sister Ringo about her feelings for Ikki. While she is intensely loyal to Sleeping Forest, she is shown to be in a state of obedience to the head of the Noyamano family, Rika. In terms of abilities, Mikan is renowned for her raw physical strength, which she applies directly to her riding style. She uses an Air Treck known as Naiki's famous machine Air Showtime I, a model tuned for power output at the cost of some speed and maneuverability. She is capable of breaking through techniques like Time Rondo with pure force. Her growth is largely seen in her shifting stance toward outside teams like Kogarasumaru and her deeper involvement in the conflicts involving the Gravity Children.
