Hosokawa began her voice acting career in the early 2000s. One of her earliest roles was in the 2003 anime series Maburaho, where she voiced the character Matsuba Yuki as well as several minor roles including a maid, a newscaster, and a schoolgirl. In 2003, she also appeared in the mecha series Godannar, providing the voice of Fuyuko Hiiragi across both seasons of the show. The following year, she had a role in Doki Doki School Hours as a graduate student.

In 2005, Hosokawa took on several notable roles. She voiced Susie Yamada, also known as Susie Yoshida, in the comedy series Best Student Council. That same year, she was cast as Miki Hashiba in the romantic drama Suzuka, based on the manga by Kouji Seo. Beyond voice acting for television, Hosokawa also contributed to video games. In 2003, she lent her voice to the character Takako Tōno (credited as Takako Tōno in some sources) in the survival horror game SIREN. Her documented anime and game work appears to be concentrated in the period between 2003 and 2006.
