Ooyama is a supporting character in the anime Angel Beats! and a member of the Afterlife Battlefront, the rebel organization operating within the afterlife school. He is an ordinary teenage boy who possesses no special talents, combat gifts, or supernatural abilities, and he is widely regarded as one of the most plain and unremarkable people in the afterlife. His unassuming nature is so pronounced that others initially mistake him for a non-player character, a fabricated resident of the afterlife world, even though he is genuinely human.
