TV-Series
Description
Kiyoh Bachika, originally born Kiyoh Littner, is the eldest of Kittan Bachika's three younger sisters. She and her siblings, known as the Black Siblings, became orphans and fled their home village of Bachika after it was destroyed, subsequently dedicating themselves to hunting beastmen on the surface.
Kiyoh is characterized by her decisiveness and willingness to take action, particularly in contrast to her sisters. When the group learned of Kamina's death, Kiyoh was the only one among her siblings who did not fall into despair; instead, she resolved to contribute directly to the fight by becoming a Gunmen pilot. She possesses notable combat ability, as demonstrated when fighting her way out of an enemy Gunmen. Initially, she worked in the control room of the Dai-Gurren, but eventually moved to the front lines, piloting the Dayakkaiser, a Gunmen previously used by Dayakka.
Kiyoh's most significant relationship is with Dayakka, whom she eventually marries. Following the fall of Teppelin, she becomes pregnant and later gives birth to a daughter. She is also a source of direct, practical wisdom for others. When Nia Teppelin hesitated to accept Simon's marriage proposal, Kiyoh firmly encouraged her to give an honest answer, helping to resolve Nia's uncertainty.
Throughout the story, Kiyoh develops from a supporting member in the background, helping to keep locations safe, to an active frontline combatant and eventually a mother starting a family in the newly established human society. Her abilities include piloting Gunmen effectively in battle, and she is known for her physical strength and courage in combat situations.
