Description
Miyon Yi is a supporting character in the anime Kamichama Karin. She is Himeka Kujou's best friend from elementary school and the only main character who was not born in Japan, being a South Korean citizen. She lives in Japan with her mother. Miyon is thirteen years old and has a distinctive appearance: her hair is a bluish-green shade of aquamarine, long and fluffy, ending in tight curls, and she is always seen wearing tassel hair clips. Her eyes are yellow.

Miyon has a creative and theatrical personality. She enjoys writing plays, and in both Kamichama Karin and its sequel Kamichama Karin Chu, she authors school productions that are loosely based on classic stories such as Snow White and The Three Musketeers. Her plays are often elaborate and dramatic, and the only character who consistently understands and admires her work is Kirio Karasuma, who has a soft spot for dramatic plays. Miyon herself has a crush on Yuuki Sakurai and hopes that he will attend a music school.

In the story, Miyon functions primarily as a friend and classmate to the main characters, providing occasional comic relief through her theatrical endeavors. She does not possess any divine powers or take part in the magical battles central to the plot. Her role is that of a normal schoolgirl who supports Himeka and interacts with the other characters in everyday school life. Her development is minimal, as she remains a steady, friendly presence throughout the series. In Kamichama Karin Chu, it is mentioned that she perishes in a house fire, though this event is referenced rather than shown. Overall, Miyon is a kind, creative, and loyal friend whose contributions to the story are grounded in her artistic interests and her close bond with Himeka.
