Description
Waltrud Krupinski, a tall and slender woman of 175 cm with striking grace, carries herself with a refined poise that inspired peers to dub her "the Countess." This cultured facade contrasts sharply with her reputation for hard-drinking escapades and a penchant for womanizing. Born November 11, 1926, in Domnau, northeastern Karlsland, she spent her youth in Braunsberg near the Baltic Sea, raised by public official parents. Her prodigious magical talents surfaced early, steering her toward aviation witch training after an initial ambition for naval aviation. Though prone to sneaking out nightly during training for mischief with comrades, she graduated second lieutenant with top marks.

Assigned to the 6th Flying Corps of the 52nd Fighter Wing (6./JG52), she forged a legendary trio with Gertrud Barkhorn and Erica Hartmann, serving as Hartmann’s lead wingman. Their combined prowess dominated battlefields until her 1944 transfer to the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing, where her combat brilliance persisted. Renowned for pinpoint marksmanship and aerial agility, her reckless maneuvers frequently shattered Striker Units, forcing perilous emergency landings—even mid-combat—and straining scarce Eastern Front supplies.

Decorated with the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross and promoted to Flying Officer, she later commanded JG52’s 7th Company, overseeing eastern Karlsland’s defense before retreating to Suomus. Her leadership and audacity cemented her status among Karlsland’s elite aces. Her signature magic, Magic Boost, unleashes bursts of super acceleration by channeling all magical energy at once—a tactic sparingly used due to its devastating strain on equipment.

Her Striker Units, the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2 (Yellow No. 5) and Bf 109 G-6, bore the brunt of her daring flights. Though her hedonistic tendencies and cultured restraint form a paradoxical duality, her loyalty to comrades like Hartmann and Barkhorn underscores the camaraderie and relentless pressures of wartime service.
