Kikyo, whose full name is Mikage Kikyo, is a character from the Marvel Anime universe, specifically the Earth-101001 timeline. She is a human mutant who works as a highly skilled assassin, though her primary motivation is not money or power but the pursuit of honorable combat. Her background is rooted in a disciplined past; she was taken in by a master swordsman named Yagyu Tanba, where she studied the way of the sword alongside another student, Eric Brooks, who would later become the vampire hunter known as Blade.
