Description
Ichigo Kurosaki is a fifteen-year-old high school student living in Karakura Town who also serves as a Substitute Soul Reaper, a being tasked with guiding lost souls to the afterlife and defending the living world from creatures called Hollows. He is the son of Isshin Kurosaki and the late Masaki Kurosaki, and the older brother of Karin and Yuzu. A formative tragedy in his past is the death of his mother when he was nine years old, an event for which he carries a lingering sense of guilt. This loss forged in him a resolute will to protect those close to him, driving much of his actions as a Soul Reaper.
