Philionel El Di Saillune, commonly called Prince Phil, is the crown prince of the kingdom of Saillune and a supporting character in the anime Slayers Revolution. Despite his royal standing, his appearance is rough and imposing; he has shaggy hair, a thick beard, and a large, stocky build that is often described as resembling a dwarf stretched to human size. People who meet him for the first time frequently mistake him for a bandit or a fraud rather than a prince, a contrast that is played for humor throughout the series.
His background is tied closely to the Saillune royal family. His father, King Eldoran, is still the nominal ruler but is old, sick, and bedridden, so Philionel effectively governs the kingdom in his place.
