Movie
Description
Lyza possesses a petite frame despite being an adult, characterized by long wavy blonde hair ending in curls and large blue eyes. She wears a modified red delving outfit and a helmet adorned with two feathers, standing notably shorter than most adult delvers.

Her personality blends cheerfulness and impulsiveness with a tendency for heavy drinking and frequent involvement in fights. She expresses thoughts without filter and maintains an unbalanced diet, yet demonstrates extensive knowledge of preparing bizarre creatures from the Abyss as food. Despite her carefree demeanor, she exhibits fierce loyalty to loved ones and deep concern for their safety, particularly regarding her daughter Riko. Her most defining trait is an obsessive fascination with the Abyss itself, approaching its dangers with awe and curiosity rather than fear. She particularly favored the Garden of the Flowers of Resilience in the 4th Layer.

Born in Orth, Lyza grew up as an orphan at Belchero Orphanage and became an apprentice delver. She persistently sought mentorship from the legendary White Whistle Ozen, eventually becoming her disciple. Demonstrating exceptional talent, she advanced rapidly through the ranks, achieving Black Whistle status in her teens and White Whistle status as a young adult. Her formidable combat prowess against creatures and rival delvers earned her the title "The Annihilator." She formed a team including multiple Black Whistles, where she met and married Torka.

During an expedition to retrieve the Special Grade Artifact Unheard Bell from the 4th Layer while pregnant with Riko, the ten-month mission involved conflicts with foreign delvers resulting in Torka's death. Due to the harsh conditions, Riko was stillborn upon delivery in the Abyss. Ozen placed the lifeless infant inside the Curse-Warding Box on instinct, unexpectedly reviving her. Lyza and Ozen transported the heavy box to the surface. After returning, Lyza descended again to eliminate the foreign delver group responsible for her hardships and successfully retrieved the Unheard Bell. To protect Riko from potential enemies targeting Lyza's lineage, she entrusted her daughter to her apprentice Jiruo's care while concealing their biological relationship.

When Riko was approximately two years old, Lyza embarked on her "Last Dive" toward the 6th Layer. During this descent, she reached a point near the 7th Layer and encountered a humanoid entity. Evidence suggests she interacted with the robot Reg during this period. Years later, her White Whistle and a sealed envelope were returned to Orth, leading to a Resurrection Festival under the assumption of her death. The envelope contained a message addressed to Riko stating "I'll be waiting at the bottom of the Abyss," though Ozen later questioned its authenticity due to discrepancies in handwriting style and phrasing. It was also revealed that the soul inhabiting Lyza's White Whistle was formerly known as Doni.

Her combat abilities centered around the artifact "Blaze Reap," an Everlasting Pickaxe modified with explosive gunpowder named Peace Phobia. When struck with sufficient force, it generated directed explosions. Though designed for excavation, Lyza primarily wielded it as a weapon. Her formidable overall combat skills enabled her to eliminate threats efficiently even while pregnant. As a delver, she set numerous unmatched records and discovered multiple Special Grade Artifacts, earning recognition as one of the greatest White Whistles.

The circumstances surrounding Lyza's fate remain ambiguous. No body was recovered with her returned White Whistle, and the authenticity of her message from the Abyss depths is contested. Her possible survival or transformation into a hollow-like entity is unresolved.
