Karasuba is Sekirei number 04, a powerful and feared figure known by the epithets the Black Sekirei and MBI's dog. She serves as the leader of the third-generation Disciplinary Squad, an enforcement unit tasked with eliminating Sekirei who break the rules of the Sekirei Plan. Her designation as a single-digit Sekirei immediately marks her as one of the oldest and most formidable participants in the tournament.
Physically, Karasuba is tall with long, light grey hair usually tied in a ponytail, and narrow grey eyes often narrowed into slits.
