TV-Series
Description
Chino Kafū, granddaughter of Rabbit House café's founder, assists in its operations throughout the "Is the Order a Rabbit?" series, including "BLOOM." She possesses long periwinkle hair secured with crossing black clips, relaxed blue eyes, and is the shortest main character. Her standard attire is a blue Rabbit House uniform featuring a black ankle-length skirt, white blouse, waistcoat, bow tie, and Mary Jane shoes; her school uniform is a royal blue sailor outfit.

Raised primarily by her father and grandfather after her mother's passing, Chino exhibits reserved maturity beyond her years, speaking in a flat monotone with polite grammar—a habit formed from interacting with older customers. She resents being treated as a child and maintains a serious, responsible work ethic, often annoyed by recklessness or loud behavior. Despite her reserve, she displays a subtle tsundere side, particularly towards Cocoa Hoto, whom she initially resists but gradually accepts as an older sister figure.

Her character evolves significantly. In Season 1, she unconsciously makes multiple hot cocoa drinks and acts absent-mindedly during Cocoa's temporary absence, later acknowledging Cocoa helped her open up to friends. She finds comfort in Cocoa's scent, wondering when she'll return. Season 2 deepens her dependency: frustration surfaces when Cocoa avoids affection, and worry arises over Cocoa's interest in school clubs, fearing disinterest in Rabbit House. After consuming alcohol-laced chocolate, she exhibits temporary childish behavior, addressing everyone as "big sister," and recalls it with intense embarrassment. She impulsively retrieves Cocoa's hat from a river despite being unable to swim, blushing deeply when Cocoa later invites her to meet her family.

"BLOOM" highlights further growth. She joins Cocoa and Chiya Ujimatsu at their high school, forming a new trio. Her admiration for "The Phantom Thief Lapin" becomes more prominent, reflecting broader interests. She also begins indulging in "dorky" activities she once avoided.

Chino recognizes coffee varieties by aroma, tells fortunes using cappuccino foam, crafts bottled ships, and sings. She dislikes celery but forces herself to eat it hoping to grow taller, aspiring to become a barista. She has an affinity for fairy tales like "Puss in Boots," trees, and the scent of bread. Though she cares for the angora rabbit Tippy, most rabbits flee from her. She struggles with horror stories and swimming but excels in concentration, balancing school and work from a young age.

Beyond Cocoa, her relationships include classmates Maya Jōga and Megumi Natsu. Early interactions show jealousy when Maya bonds with Cocoa and Rize, though she eventually values their friendship. Memories like preparing for school festivals or treasure hunts strengthen their bond. Her connection with Tippy, carrying the spirit of her late grandfather, remains a significant, private aspect known only to her immediate family.
