TV-Series
Description
Hector Helio, known as Rococo Urupa in the original Japanese version, is a central character in the third installment of the Inazuma Eleven series. He serves as the captain, primary goalkeeper, and occasional forward for the team Little Gigant, which represents the African region in the Football Frontier International (FFI) tournament.

Hector's background is deeply rooted in his upbringing in a small African village, where the sport was introduced by Daisuke Endou, the grandfather of the series protagonist, Endou Mamoru. Initially, Hector was not a naturally gifted player and was considered one of the weakest on the team. However, under the dedicated guidance of Daisuke, who saw his potential and never-give-up attitude, he underwent rigorous training to transform into a world-class goalkeeper. In some versions of his backstory, his passion for soccer was ignited after a chance encounter with the famous player Levin Murdoch, which inspired him to seek out Daisuke as his mentor.

In terms of personality, Hector is generally a happy-go-lucky and cheerful individual, often displaying a bright and positive demeanor that strongly resembles that of Endou Mamoru, whom he views as a rival and friend. Despite his usual lightheartedness, he becomes extremely focused and serious when facing adversity on the field or when his team is challenged. He is portrayed as a caring and brave leader, demonstrated by an incident before the final match where he acted selflessly to rescue villagers from an attack, sustaining an injury in the process. His feelings towards his coach, Daisuke Endou, are complex; he is deeply grateful and views him as a grandfather figure, but he can also show moments of jealousy, such as when Daisuke returns to Japan to spend time with his biological grandson.

Motivation and role in the story are driven by his desire to prove the strength he and his team have built under Daisuke's tutelage. His primary motivation is to face Endou Mamoru on the world stage, driven by a competitive spirit to defeat his mentor's grandson and validate his own growth. As the final opponent in the FFI, Little Gigant, led by Hector, is positioned as the ultimate obstacle for Inazuma Japan. The team is considered a dark horse in the tournament, having qualified easily and dominating the semi-finals. Hector takes a personal interest in Endou Mamoru from the very beginning, anticipating their match after learning much about him from Raimon Natsumi.

Key relationships are central to his character arc. His most significant bond is with his coach, Daisuke Endou, who built the team and personally trained him. This dynamic creates a natural and intense rivalry with Daisuke's grandson, Endou Mamoru. The relationship between Hector and Endou transcends simple rivalry; they share a mutual respect, a similar unyielding spirit, and a parallel development as goalkeepers. Hector sees Endou not as an enemy but as a benchmark of his own strength, and their match becomes a symbolic clash of Daisuke Endou's two legacies.

Throughout the narrative, Hector demonstrates significant development. He evolves from a student who was once the worst player on his team to a captain who can stand on equal footing with the world's best. This is most evident during the final match against Inazuma Japan, where his abilities grow exponentially in real-time. He displays a reactive power level similar to Endou Mamoru, allowing him to strengthen his techniques and create new ones on the fly to counter his opponents' most powerful moves. While his team ultimately loses the match, Hector vows to avenge their loss and continue improving, with the goal of defeating Endou in the future.

Notable abilities include a range of powerful hissatsu techniques. As a goalkeeper, his signature moves are God Hand X, a greatly enhanced version of the classic God Hand technique, and Tamashii the Hand, his strongest defensive move which manifests as a giant red spiritual hand. As a forward, his primary shooting technique is X Blast, a powerful shot that he performs by crossing his legs in mid-air to strike the ball with immense force. He is noted for having incredible speed and reflexes, with Endou himself admitting that Hector could activate his God Hand much faster. His leadership is also a notable ability, as his fighting spirit and determination can elevate the performance of his entire team during a match.
