Kōjirō Genda is the goalkeeper for Teikoku Gakuen and later serves as the goalkeeper for Shin Teikoku Gakuen and Neo Japan. After the Shin Teikoku incident, Genda returns to normal and eventually joins Neo Japan, a team created by Hitomiko to challenge Inazuma Japan for the national team spot in the Football Frontier International tournament. In the Ares timeline, he shows further growth by acting on his own moral judgment, taking the captain’s armband from Shimerigawa and giving it to Sakuma.
