TV-Series
Description
Fuyuka Kudō is a character who appears as the manager of the Japanese national team, Inazuma Japan. Her real name is Fuyuka Ono, and she is the adopted daughter of the team's coach, Michiya Kudō. She is introduced as a childhood friend of the protagonist, Mamoru Endō, who affectionately calls her by the nickname "Fuyuppe". Fuyuka has a passive, introverted, and quiet personality, often speaking with a soft tone. Despite her shy nature, she acts in a caring, motherly way towards the team members, taking her duties seriously by doing things like reading about nutrition to improve their meals and labeling personal items to keep things organized. Her primary motivation is to support Inazuma Japan to the best of her ability as a manager, a role she steps into after Natsumi Raimon leaves the team.

Fuyuka's backstory is central to her character. As a young child, she was close friends with Endō, but her biological parents died in a traumatic car accident. The shock was so severe that she stopped eating and became deeply depressed. To save her life, her adoptive father, Coach Kudō, used hypnotherapy to erase her memories of the incident and her past. This is why she does not initially recognize Endō when they meet again. Her role in the story involves the gradual and difficult process of recovering these lost memories, which connects to a larger mystery involving Endō's grandfather, Daisuke Endō, and her biological father, Masataka Ono, who helped Daisuke escape the country years ago. Her key relationships include her foster father, who is protective of her, and Endō, whose unwavering presence helps her confront her past. She also works closely with fellow managers Aki Kino and Haruna Otonashi, who help her learn her duties.

Throughout the third season, Fuyuka develops from a shy, amnesiac girl into a more confident and integral member of the team. A significant moment in her development occurs when she triggers a memory after witnessing a near-accident, causing her to remember her parents' deaths and her past. Despite the pain, she insists on not having her memories erased again, declaring that she does not want to forget Endō and her new friends. In the epilogue, she transfers to Raimon Junior High and graduates alongside her teammates. Her story continues in the sequel series, Inazuma Eleven GO, where she has grown more mature and resolute, working as a nurse at the local hospital where she looks after the patient Taiyou Amemiya. Regarding notable abilities, while her primary role is a manager, she is a capable cook in the anime. In the video games, she can be scouted as a playable defender, possessing techniques such as Snow Angel and Wolf Legend. She is also one of the few people who can read the complex handwriting of Daisuke Endō, a skill she learned from her biological father.
