Inu/Dog is a white-furred canine with piercing yellow eyes who travels alongside Mikoto Kibitsu as a mature, seasoned companion. He offers counsel and stability rather than serving as a pet. Dog accompanies Mikoto to the Aldarake Kingdom, standing by him during the Oni's defeat before journeying onward. Near Rimdarl Kingdom, after Mikoto spares the defeated Eye-Oni, Dog discerns his decision reflects seeing his own past in her. He later scents Saltherine Aldarake's presence within Rimdarl, though Mikoto departs regardless.

During Mikoto's traumatic episodes or loss of control, Dog intervenes to restore his awareness, embodying a protective and guiding role. His capacity for speech enables critical communication, grounding Mikoto when perspective is needed. Dog remains a steadfast travel partner and emotional anchor throughout their shared path.
