TV-Series
Description
Todoroki is a high ogre possessing thunder manipulation. His androgynous appearance features yellow eyes, neck-length black hair, and a childlike face. He deliberately wears his kimono left-over-right, a style traditionally used for dressing the deceased in Japan.
His body constantly crackles with electricity, making physical contact harmful and sparking prolonged isolation. Omenki provided him with a special hat that suppresses his power, finally allowing safe interaction. He traveled with companions Shinki, Basuu, and Sleep Ogre, forming a deep attachment to Omenki.
Believing Hawthorn Grattor killed her, he flew into a rage and tried to kill Hawthorn. During this battle, Winnie Emex and the artifact "Air" aided Hawthorn, defeating Todoroki. This loss prompted him to reconsider his views on humans and shift towards coexistence.
Choosing independence over joining Sally's group, he pursued peace between ogres and humans. Crow later taught him to accelerate and launch metal objects like a railgun, a technique he favors. Todoroki also expressed appreciation for the smooth texture of Crow's fur.
In the manga, a confrontation with Kibitsu Mikoto resulted in Mikoto's sword breaking during an attempt to kill Todoroki, prompting Dog to recount Mikoto's backstory to a blacksmith. Todoroki presently operates alongside Crow, Play Ogre, Small Ogre, Sleep Ogre, and Echo Ogre.
