Description
Hatori Sohma serves as the private physician to the Sohma family and holds the position of the Dragon in the Chinese zodiac, though his cursed form is that of a small seahorse rather than a mythical dragon, a fact he finds deeply embarrassing. He carries the heavy responsibility of performing a memory suppression technique, a form of hypnosis passed down through his family line, to erase the memories of outsiders who discover the Sohma clan's secret.
In his late twenties, Hatori is depicted as a tall, somber man who typically dresses in formal suits. His black hair usually covers his left eye, which was severely injured in a past incident, leaving him nearly blind in it.
