TV-Series
Description
Georgie Saikawa is the older sister of Riko Saikawa, though she is almost exclusively known by her chosen alias rather than her real name, Nae or Sanae Saikawa. She is a third-year middle school student, fifteen years old, with a height of one hundred fifty-five centimeters. She has red hair styled into twin pigtails and green eyes. Her most defining visual trait is her near-permanent attire: a handmade orange dress with white polka dots, a white apron and cap, and black striped stockings, which is the uniform she has adopted as the self-proclaimed maid of the Saikawa household. She maintains this maid outfit for daily activities, family gatherings, and public outings, to the extent that her younger sister, Riko, is surprised to see her in a school uniform.

True to her appearance, Georgie is an extreme and passionate maid enthusiast. Her calm, sweet, and gentle demeanor contrasts with her sister Riko's more energetic personality, and she is consistently supportive of her family. Her obsession with maid culture began in childhood after she read a book on the subject, and she has since dedicated herself to studying every aspect of the role, from etiquette to tea service. She crafts her own elaborate maid outfits to fund her hobby, she works part-time in an amusement park mascot costume. So complete is her immersion in her maid persona that she often forgets her given name, Nae, and may not respond when addressed by it.

Georgie first appears by inviting the dragon maid Tohru and her human companion Kobayashi to her home, as she is eager to meet the maid rumored to be working in the shopping district. However, upon meeting, she and Kobayashi immediately form a close bond over their shared interest in maids, engaging in intense conversation that leaves Tohru feeling excluded and jealous. She and Kobayashi refer to one another as comrades. Tohru initially sees Georgie as a rival for Kobayashi's approval but eventually comes to respect her dedication, though she notes Georgie still has childish aspects befitting her age. Despite her formal role, she is still a teenage girl, and on other occasions she has been shown studying for exams, experimenting with makeup, and preparing chocolates for a visit from Kanna, the young dragon who is friends with her sister.

Her most important relationship is with her younger sister, Riko, whom she affectionately refers to as milady both at home and in public. She is a caring and supportive older sister, once trying to give her own great luck fortune slip to Riko during a New Year's shrine visit. In the spin-off, she hosts Kanna for sleepovers and plays with the younger girls, even sternly teaching Kanna about the mindset of a maid when she wants to play pretend. Her dedication to her maid identity has practical applications; she brews tea for guests and has a deep knowledge of ettiquete, sufficient to advise Tohru on the design of a new maid outfit. Her commitment to her self-appointed role has become so legendary among her acquaintances that when Kanna once saw her in a standard school uniform, she mistook Georgie for a suspicious stranger.
