Lasse Aeon is a member of the private military organization Celestial Being in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Born on October 16, 2282, he came from a turbulent background, having been part of a mafia organization before being recruited at the age of twenty as a candidate to pilot the Gundam Exia. Rather than becoming a primary Gundam Meister, he assumed a multifaceted support role aboard the flagship Ptolemaios, serving as its helmsman, primary gunner, and engineer. His combat ability as a gunner was considered critical to the mother ship's effectiveness. In addition, he was trained as a reserve Meister and could pilot the GN Arms support unit and, in dire situations, the 0 Gundam.

In the final battle against the UN Forces, he co-piloted the GN Armor Type-E with Setsuna and was exposed to toxic GN particles, which left his body suffering long-term aftereffects. Presumed dead, he survived and was rescued. By the second season, he returns to serve as the lead pilot and gunner aboard the new Ptolemaios 2, despite his deteriorating health. He also takes on the responsibility of supervising Saji Crossroad, guiding him during uncertain times. In the film A Wakening of the Trailblazer, he continues to serve Celestial Being as a gunner and pilot.
