Description
Kaiser Insight, alias Mana Senri, functions as the main antagonist in the original *Princess Connect!* game and Arc 1 of *Re:Dive*. As part of the research group WISDOM, she engaged in experiments on Muimi Sonoue's psychic abilities and co-created the artificial intelligence Minerva. Mana sought to exploit Minerva's wish-granting power to achieve absolute dominion over others. When defector Akira Mosakuji released Minerva into the VRMMORPG *Legends of Astrum*, Mana and her colleagues formed the Seven Crowns to pursue the AI, granting themselves advantages and recruiting subordinates like Muimi and Octo. Mana privately intended to betray the other Seven Crowns once she secured Minerva.
Within *Princess Connect!*, Mana repeatedly clashed with the guild Twinkle Wish, who obstructed her goals. During the final confrontation at Sol Tower, she forcibly merged with Minerva, overpowered Twinkle Wish, and killed members including Rei and Hiyori. Yuuki sacrificed himself shielding Yui from Mana's attack. After remaking the world, Mana usurped Landsol's throne by impersonating Princess Eustiana von Astraea, brainwashing the populace to accept her rule while branding the true princess, Eustiana (now Pecorine), a criminal. She tasked Karyl with assassinating Pecorine and monitoring the amnesiac Yuuki, who had survived.
Throughout Arc 1 of *Re:Dive*, Mana manipulated Karyl as her Princess Knight, punishing her for showing empathy or forming bonds. When Karyl failed to eliminate Pecorine, Mana teleported her and Yuuki to the throne room, revealing Yuuki's amnesia and Karyl's role as a spy. Mana then attempted to forcibly infuse Karyl with lethal power levels, dismissing her as expendable. Yuuki's intervention halted this, prompting Mana to teleport him away and launch a devastating attack on Pecorine, Yuuki, and allies in a mountain range. After a temporary coma, Mana resumed her plans, brainwashing Karyl and capturing Seven Crowns member Neneka to drain her mana. In the final battle, she absorbed life force from Landsol's citizens and nearly killed Pecorine, but Yuuki intercepted the blow. Karyl later overloaded Mana's power by returning her Princess Knight energy combined with Yuuki's, enabling Pecorine and Yuuki to defeat her. Mana was imprisoned, warning of a greater impending threat.
Mana possesses a fox-like beastkin appearance with white hair, red eyes, and a tail, typically adorned in a red-patterned kimono with a fur collar and golden accessories. As Kaiser Insight, her attire shifts to dominatrix-inspired black and gold clothing with a purple aura obscuring her left eye. Her personality blends extreme intellect with megalomania; she views herself as a future god and others as tools, exhibiting ruthlessness, sadism, and occasional complexity—such as accepting Karyl's onigiri despite disdain for human needs or demonstrating unexpected competence in reforming Landsol's governance. She harbors a deep-seated inferiority complex toward Labyrista, another Seven Crowns member.
Trivia notes highlight the irony of her name "Mana" (meaning "genuine") contrasting with her fabricated identity, and her surname "Senri" ("thousand miles") symbolizing ambition. Her design draws inspiration from the sun goddess Amaterasu and mythological fox spirits like Tamamo-no-Mae. Following her imprisonment, Landsol experienced resurgent corruption and chaos from groups like Rage Legion, indirectly validating her role in suppressing instability.
