TV-Series
Description
Kazuho Amatatsu is a supporting character in the series, recognized as a member of the Kairōshū, also known as the Gray Wolves, which is the shinobi clan based in the village of Iga. She is the younger sister of Kazuhiko Yukimi, another prominent member of the group. In the ordinary world, Kazuho manages a sushi restaurant alongside her husband, who works as a fisherman, while in the hidden world of Nabari, she serves as a skilled medical professional. She holds a medical license and works as the doctor at the Nabarino Clinic, the hospital located in the Iga village.

In her role within the Kairōshū, Kazuho acts as the head of a research center dedicated to analyzing scrolls of forbidden techniques. The primary goal of this research is to develop a method to extract the Shinrabanshō, a powerful and coveted secret technique at the center of the series' conflict. She is particularly notable for being the personal physician responsible for Yoite, a key character suffering from a severe and debilitating condition. Her dedication to Yoite is evident, as she appears to care for him deeply and takes her medical duties seriously.

Kazuho is a woman of 26 years old, born on September 9th. She stands 160 cm tall and has blood type B. In terms of appearance, she is depicted with blonde hair and blue eyes, and is often seen wearing glasses with her hair styled in a ponytail held by a hairclip. Her personality can be inferred from her stated preferences and professional demeanor; she enjoys comedians, dogs, and almond tofu, while she dislikes wasabi as well as Japanese and world history. Her actions suggest a pragmatic individual who is capable of using her extensive knowledge of secret arts to aid her clan's objectives.

Kazuho's key relationships are primarily defined by her family and her profession. Her bond with her brother, Kazuhiko Yukimi, is significant. When members of the clan moved to kill both her brother and Yoite, she sided with them, leading to Yukimi's decision to flee from the Gray Wolves. This event marks a turning point in her development, forcing her to choose between her loyalty to the clan and her loyalty to her patient and family. Before fully integrating into the hidden world, both Kazuho and her brother were orphans taken in by the Kairōshū leader, Hattori, while they were still in school.

Her abilities extend beyond standard medicine. In addition to her medical expertise and knowledge of forbidden shinobi techniques, she possesses a range of unusual practical skills. She is proficient in obtaining various professional licenses, including those for operating small watercraft, diving, and meteorology. These skills reflect her dual life, seamlessly moving between the ordinary world of her sushi restaurant and the complex, dangerous politics of the Nabari clans.
