Yui Kano is a Japanese voice actress and narrator affiliated with Aoni Production. She was born on December 22, 1983, in Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from the Amusement Media General Institute, she made her official debut as a voice actress in 2004. Her decision to pursue this career was influenced by winning a scenario competition at the age of fifteen, which led to her first experience in a drama CD. Before joining Aoni Production, she supported herself with part-time work while building her career in radio and narration.

Kano's career encompasses a wide range of roles in anime, video games, and drama CDs. Her first major heroine role came in 2006 when she voiced Momoko Kuzuryu in the anime series Sumomomo Momomo. In the same year, she also voiced the character Momota in the series Himawari!. Her versatility as a voice actress is demonstrated through a variety of other significant roles. She played Misaki Sakura in the 2008 series Our Home's Fox Deity and Phantoma in the 2008 film Hells. She is also known for her portrayal of Irma in the Queen's Blade franchise, appearing in both Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin and Queen's Blade 2: The Evil Eye. Additional anime roles include Female Student and Waitress in Spelunker Sensei, Cecile Lafitte in GOSICK, Edy Nelson in Valkyria Chronicles, and numerous characters in the long-running series One Piece. Her work extends to video games, where she has provided voices for characters in franchises such as Rune Factory, God Eater, and the Valkyria Chronicles series.

For her performance as Momoko Kuzuryu in Sumomomo Momomo, Kano was awarded the Newcomer Award for actresses at the very first Seiyu Awards in 2007. Beyond acting, she is known for her work as a radio personality, hosting shows like Assemble Shokanoin Editing Department, and has participated in the voice acting units YumeYura and Trefle.
