Description
Nina Antalk is a third-year Military Arts student at the Academic City Zuellni and the captain of the 17th platoon. She has short, spiky blonde hair and blue eyes. Born into a wealthy family in the city of Sheniebel, which has a royal family for which she is an heiress, she chose to leave that life behind. She felt there were things in the world she needed to protect and ran away, supporting herself through work. This decision stems from a childhood event: she once saved a young fairy infant, and in gratitude the head fairy sacrificed itself to save her. This experience drove her to seek power so she could protect the weak.
Nina is strong-willed and determined, with a fierce belief that weakness is a sin. She can be blunt and forceful, but beneath that exterior is a deep compassion for others and a strong sense of responsibility. At the start of the story, she forcibly recruits Layfon Alseif into her platoon to prevent its dissolution, recognizing his abilities. She commands the 17th platoon, which includes Layfon, Felli Loss, Sharnid Elipton, and Harley Sutton. Over time, she develops strong bonds with her team, and her relationship with Layfon grows particularly close — she eventually falls in love with him, though her stern demeanor often masks her feelings.
