Description
Keisaku Satou is a fifteen-year-old high school student who initially spends much of his time skipping class alongside his close friend, Eita Tanaka. He comes from one of the oldest and wealthiest families in Misaki City, but due to ongoing conflicts with his relatives, he lives independently in a small villa under the care of a caretaker. His height is recorded as either 167 or 171 centimeters depending on the source, and he has a slender build with light brown hair that reaches his neck and dark blue-violet eyes.

Keisaku's personality blends an underlying melancholy with a more cheerful and sociable demeanor, particularly when among friends. His isolation during middle school led to uncontrollable behavior, but by high school, he had calmed down considerably, especially after forming a close bond with Eita. He tends to overthink situations and strives for optimal outcomes, enjoying festivities and often livening up group dynamics. The loneliness stemming from his privileged upbringing continues to influence his more brooding moments.

A major turning point in Keisaku's life occurs when the powerful Flame Haze named Margery Daw arrives in Misaki City and randomly selects him and Eita to act as her guides. During this time, they discover the Crystal Altar, a magical map previously used by another Flame Haze, and begin providing support for Margery's operations. Because his family villa remains largely empty, it becomes Margery's primary residence. Keisaku gradually develops romantic feelings for Margery, which he initially hides, though he displays powerful emotions when he feels betrayed by her at one point, reacting even more intensely than Eita does.

Keisaku's role in the story centers on his loyalty to Margery and his desire to become useful to her. He trains in hopes of remaining relevant in combat situations and initially sees Yuji Sakai as a rival, particularly after learning that Yuji is being personally trained by the Flame Haze Shana and Wilhelmina Carmel. Over time, however, he accepts that he does not need to follow Yuji's path and decides to focus on his studies instead, changing schools so that he can eventually work at the Outlaw to support Margery through non-combat means.

His key relationships include his steadfast friendship with Eita Tanaka, with whom he shares almost all of his experiences, and his growing romantic bond with Margery Daw. The friendship with Yuji Sakai also plays an important role, serving as both a source of inspiration and rivalry that ultimately helps Keisaku define his own identity. His development reaches its emotional peak when Margery falls into a coma; encouraged by Eita, he visits her, confesses his love with a kiss, and succeeds in awakening her, after which their relationship becomes fully realized.

In terms of notable abilities, Keisaku does not possess supernatural powers or combat skills comparable to the Flame Haze. His primary contributions come from his resources, as his family villa provides a safe haven for Margery, and his dedication to supporting her through conventional means such as education and future employment at the Outlaw organization.
