Kenji Nojima

Kenji Nojima is a Japanese voice actor and singer born on March 16, 1976, in Tokyo. He is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. He comes from a family of voice actors; his father is Akio Nojima, and his older brother is Hirofumi Nojima. He is married to fellow voice actress Chie Sawaguchi, and they have two children.

Nojima began his career in 1996, with his first voice role being in a video game. His first major role in an anime series was as Spark in Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight in 1998. In 2000, he was selected to voice Hikaru Ichijyo in the Super Robot Wars α game, taking over the role for the Macross franchise, which he continued to voice in subsequent projects.

Over his career, Nojima has portrayed a wide variety of characters. Some of his notable anime roles include Nobuchika Ginoza in the Psycho-Pass series, Eiji Okumura in Banana Fish, Taihei Doma in Himouto! Umaru-chan, Shinsuke Kita in Haikyu!! To The Top, Natsume Sakasaki in Ensemble Stars!, Yuto Kiba in High School DxD, and Keisaku Sato in Shakugan no Shana. He has also voiced Tuxedo Mask/Mamoru Chiba in the Sailor Moon Crystal and Eternal films. In 2006, Nojima temporarily filled in for fellow voice actor Hiroshi Kamiya on the series Honey and Clover II and others after Kamiya was in an accident.

In addition to anime, Nojima has an extensive body of work in video games. A long-running role is as the voice of Lu Xun in Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors series, a character he has voiced for many years. Other prominent game roles include Albedo in Genshin Impact and Shallot in Dragon Ball Legends. He has also been involved in music, forming a musical reading unit called BELOVED in 2004 with his wife and others.
