Description
Jun Guevaru (sometimes romanized as Jun Guevara) is a fictional character inspired by Che Guevara within an alternate universe. A South American in his mid-twenties, he founded the sovereign nation of La Serna following a background as a pirate. His radical political philosophy features strong anti-capitalist and anti-US stances, leading to his imprisonment at Arizona State Prison. This resulted from breaking into George Bosch's house and threatening his family after Bosch contemplated military action against La Serna.

Within the prison, he earned the moniker "The Second" or "Number Two," reflecting his status as the second inmate granted special privileges due to the fear he instilled in guards and authorities. Like fellow inmate Biscuit Oliva, he enjoys certain freedoms, including better meals and guards overlooking minor infractions like stealing cigarettes, though he lacks a private cell or library. He ranks among the three most powerful individuals globally, alongside Oliva and Yujiro Hanma – described as "one of the three men alive more powerful than a machine gun."

Physically muscular with shoulder-length black hair, he typically wears a bandana. Outside prison, his attire consists of army green clothing or a black tank top; inside, he wears the standard orange prisoner uniform. In combat, he removes his bandana and shirt, applying war paint made of dirt after "opening his jar of wind," a sensory technique enabling him to detect distant winds.

His fighting style is Mukakure-ryuu Ninjutsu (No-Cover Style Ninjutsu), taught by his grandfather. This discipline emphasizes bare-handed combat against armed opponents, enabling single-strike kills. Notable techniques include:
- **Harite**: A sumo-style clap generating air pressure to rupture eardrums, followed by using his hair as a needle to extract the cochlea.
- **Ippon Ken**: A focused fist strike.
- **Core Hardness**: A defensive technique to withstand powerful blows.

His combat feats include defeating a sumo wrestler in the prison cafeteria with a crotch kick and later winning a sumo match in the sports hall. He incapacitated three members of the Mouth gang, distracting one with urine before delivering a tooth-shattering uppercut that sent the opponent airborne. His most significant fight was against Biscuit Oliva in the prison's central area. He endured multiple heavy punches and briefly staggered Oliva before ultimate defeat. Oliva later remarked Jun could have escaped anytime by overpowering the front gate but chose to tunnel out instead to avoid humiliating the prison's security forces. He eventually escaped this way, returning to his homeland.

Jun Guevaru possesses high intelligence and exceptional knowledge of natural sciences. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Japanese. His leadership skills enabled him to independently unite a nation. His personality is marked by extreme confidence, pride, and arrogance; he never doubts his abilities and refuses to accept defeat. Despite his capabilities, he avoids unnecessary harm, demonstrated by his consideration for the prison guards' reputation during his escape.

Following his escape and defeat by Oliva, the character does not reappear or undergo further development in subsequent arcs or media.
