Patrizio Prata is an established Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born in Milan on February 2, 1972. His career began in his youth, driven by a childhood fascination with the art of dubbing. He started around the age of fourteen by voicing children in advertisements before dedicating himself to studying acting, which he considers fundamental to his craft. By the age of eighteen, he was working professionally as a voice actor.

Over a career spanning several decades, Prata has become a prominent and prolific figure in Italian dubbing, providing the Italian voices for a vast array of characters in anime, animated series, films, and live-action television shows. He is particularly well-known in the anime community for his long-standing and iconic roles. Among his most celebrated performances are Roronoa Zoro in the long-running series One Piece and its associated films, including One Piece Stampede, and Jaden Yuki in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. His repertoire also includes major characters such as Android 17 in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, Kabuto Yakushi in Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden, and Keroro in Sgt. Frog. He has also voiced Kenshin Himura in Rurouni Kenshin, Guts in Berserk, and Tetsurō Kuroo in Haikyu!! To The Top.

His work extends across numerous other popular series. He voiced Akitaru Ōbi in Fire Force, the character Iskahn in Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld, Goten in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and Bondrewd in Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul. He has also contributed to series such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Dr. Stone: New World, Assassination Classroom, Pokémon films, and the Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter OVAs. In addition to anime, he has voiced characters in Western animation, including Superman in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, Geronimo Stilton in the series of the same name, and Dante Vale in Huntik: Secrets & Seekers. His live-action dubbing work includes roles in the Power Rangers franchise and the character Ben Chang in the series Community.

Beyond acting, Patrizio Prata is also active as a dubbing director, guiding the Italian voice productions for numerous series, including Haikyu!!, Fire Force, and A.I.C.O. -Incarnation-. Since February 2007, he has served as the official voice-over host for Disney Channel Italy. His contributions to the field have been recognized with the Best Male Dubbing Award for a cartoon, awarded by the public at the Grand Gala of Dubbing during Romics in 2007. Prata has worked with various Milan-based dubbing studios, including Studio P.V., Deneb Film, and Merak Film.
