Toma confronts Apollo,Silvia, and Sirius inside the ruins of Atlantis, revealing his existence as a Shadow Angel who once served the fallen Celiane. He declares his intention to reclaim Celiane’s soul, which he identifies as residing within Silvia and Sirius. Apollo, Silvia, and Sirius launch Aquarion to engage Toma, but he counters by deploying his own mechanized angel and disrupting their synchronization with psychic pressure. Toma separates the pilots, forcing Apollo to fight alone while Silvia and Sirius struggle to reconnect their Elements. During the battle, Toma projects memories of his past with Celiane, showing his original devotion and the moment she chose a human lover, solidifying his hatred for humanity. The psychic assault causes Silvia to experience Celiane’s memories directly, blurring her sense of self. Apollo, refusing to abandon Silvia, reaches through the mental interference and physically reunites with her, triggering Aquarion to evolve into a new, more powerful form. 26Aquarion
Apollo and Sirius pilot the two Aquerions into a final confrontation with Touma. Touma,leader of the Shadow Angels, seeks to merge with Silvia to reclaim his lost love, Celian. Apollo refuses to allow Silvia to become Touma’s vessel. Sirius, who previously allied with the Shadow Angels, rejoins Apollo’s side after recognizing Touma’s manipulation. The two brothers combine the Solar Aquarion and the Shadow Aquarion into a single unified machine. Touma uses the Tree of Life to amplify his power, forcing the combined Aquarion to pierce its core. Apollo enters the Tree of Life alone to confront Touma directly. Inside, Touma reveals his millennia-long grief for the original Celian. Apollo absorbs Touma’s despair instead of destroying him, taking the burden upon himself. The Tree of Life collapses, and Apollo vanishes. Silvia senses Apollo’s presence fading, and she and Sirius mourn his apparent death. The Shadow Angels retreat, and Earth avoids immediate destruction. In the aftermath, DEAVA members gather, and a young boy appears bearing Apollo’s memories and his connection to Silvia. Silvia recognizes the boy as Apollo reborn without his past burdens. The reincarnation cycle that defines the series continues, setting the stage for renewed conflicts and relationships as Silvia, the reborn Apollo, and the others begin a new chapter.
