Description
"Aquarion Myth of Emotions" is a 12-episode anime series that serves as a sequel to "Aquarion Evol," continuing the overarching narrative of the Aquarion universe. The story is set in a world where humanity faces the threat of the Abductors, interdimensional beings that harvest human emotions to sustain their existence. The series explores the concept of emotions as a powerful force, intertwining themes of love, loss, and destiny.

The narrative centers on Amata Sora, a young man with the ability to fly, and Mikono Suzushiro, a girl with a mysterious connection to the past. Both are part of a group of pilots who operate the Aquaria, giant mechas formed by combining three Vector machines. These mechas are humanity's primary defense against the Abductors. The pilots, known as Elements, must synchronize their emotions to achieve perfect union and unleash the Aquaria's full potential. However, emotional conflicts and personal struggles often hinder their ability to work together.

Amata and Mikono's relationship is a focal point, as their bond is tied to a reincarnated love story spanning millennia. Their connection is complicated by the presence of Kagura Demuri, a powerful and enigmatic figure who shares a deep, antagonistic link to Amata. Kagura's motivations are driven by his own emotional turmoil and a desire to reclaim a lost love, adding layers of tension to the narrative.

The series delves into the origins of the Aquaria and the ancient conflict between the Shadow Angels and humans, revealing how past events shape the present. Key characters, such as Zessica Wong and Mix, contribute to the emotional dynamics, each grappling with their own feelings and insecurities. The story also introduces new characters, including Akira, a young boy with a unique connection to the Aquaria, whose presence further complicates the relationships and battles.

As the Abductors grow stronger, the Elements must confront their inner fears and desires to achieve the ultimate union, known as the Aquarion Evol. This union symbolizes the merging of hearts and minds, transcending individual limitations to protect humanity. The series culminates in a climactic battle that tests the characters' resolve and their ability to harness the power of emotions for the greater good.
