Kiyono Yasuno is a Japanese voice actress and singer affiliated with Avex Pictures. She was born on July 9, 1989, in Miyagi Prefecture. Her interest in voice acting began in childhood after watching anime such as Sailor Moon and Saint Tail, which led her to seek out behind-the-scenes content about the dubbing process. During high school, she was a member of her school's theater club. Wanting to pursue a career in voice acting, she applied and was accepted into the voice actor training course at the Avex Artist Academy, funding her own tuition as requested by her parents. She began her career in 2009 under her birth name, Kiyono Mezawa, before adopting her current stage name.

Yasuno's first leading role came in 2011, voicing the protagonist Kizuna Todoroki in the animated film Kizuna Ichigeki. In the following years, she built her career with a variety of supporting roles, including Sakura Kitaōji in the Aikatsu! franchise starting in 2013 and Tina Kobayakawa in Wake Up, Girls! in 2014. Her breakthrough role arrived in 2015 when she was cast as the main heroine, Megumi Katō, in the popular romantic comedy series Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend. This performance brought her widespread recognition and is frequently cited as a fan-favorite role.

That same year, she joined the The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls franchise, voicing the rock musician character Natsuki Kimura. Her journey to this role was notable, as she had personally requested an audition and the character became a significant part of her career, showcasing her lower vocal range and singing abilities in live concerts. In 2016, Yasuno became a member of the musical unit Walküre, performing songs for and voicing the character Kaname Buccaneer in the anime Macross Delta. Her work with the unit was a major career milestone, leading to live performances and recognition for their collective musical talent.

Yasuno is also known for her performance as Erena Amamiya, also known as Cure Soleil, in the 2019 magical girl series Star Twinkle Pretty Cure, a role she described as a dream job. Her filmography includes a wide range of other characters, such as Nejire Hado in My Hero Academia, Charmy Pappitson in Black Clover, Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself in the Overlord series, Hoshiguma in Arknights, Michiru Saruwatari in Orient, Rasuna Sumita in Kakushigoto, and Mutsu Amatani in Are You Lost?.

In 2017, Yasuno launched her solo singing career under the FlyingDog label with the release of her first mini-album, Namida. The album included the ending theme song for the anime Restaurant to Another World, in which she also voiced the character Sarah Gold. She continued to release music, including the singles "Rocket Beat" and "Hare Moyou".

In recognition of her musical achievements, Yasuno, as a member of Walküre, received the Singing Award at the 15th Seiyu Awards in 2021. Beyond awards, her popularity is reflected in fan polls, where her portrayal of Megumi Katō consistently ranks highly. Her work is characterized by a noted versatility, allowing her to portray characters ranging from quiet and reserved heroines to powerful and cool musicians, as well as kind and energetic figures like Cure Soleil. She has developed recurring collaborations with fellow voice actors such as Nao Tōyama, with whom she formed the unit Pokapoka AEON in 2021 and performed the opening theme for the anime Slow Loop, in which Yasuno voiced the character Tora Yoshinaga.
