Eric Vale is an American voice actor, ADR director, and script writer, widely recognized for his extensive work in English dubs of Japanese anime series, primarily with Funimation. Born on April 28, 1974, he began his career in the industry in 1999 and has since become a prominent figure, voicing a wide array of characters across numerous popular franchises.

Vale is known for his versatile vocal range, taking on roles that vary from heroic protagonists to complex antagonists. Some of his most iconic and long-running roles include the adult version of Trunks in the Dragon Ball series, the suave chef Sanji in One Piece, and the tormented Yuki Soma in the Fruits Basket franchise. He also voices the villainous Tomura Shigaraki in My Hero Academia, a role that has garnered significant attention. Other notable performances include Phoenix Wright in Ace Attorney, Loke in Fairy Tail, Solf J. Kimblee in Fullmetal Alchemist, and both America and Canada in the Hetalia series.

Beyond voice acting, Vale has made substantial contributions behind the scenes. He has worked extensively as an ADR director and script writer, even serving as head writer on more than fifty properties for Funimation Entertainment.
