Description
Nishiki Nishio is a ghoul who originally claimed a feeding ground in Tokyo’s 20th ward before it was taken by the more powerful Rize Kamishiro. He was a second-year student in the Pharmaceutical Department of Kamii University and the boyfriend of Kimi Nishino. In Tokyo Ghoul:re, he becomes known under the alias Serpent or Orochi and is classified as an S-rated ghoul.
His background is marked by tragedy: his sister was killed by the Commission of Counter Ghoul, an event that deeply wounded his ability to trust others and pushed him into a lone wolf mentality.
