Jean-Marco Montalto is a French and Italian voice actor primarily known for his extensive work in the French dubbing of animated series and films, particularly Japanese anime. Born in Paris, France on August 16, 1970, he is a native speaker of both French and Italian and also has proficiency in English and basic Spanish. In addition to voice acting, he is also an actor who has appeared in movies, television series, and theatrical productions.

Montalto has lent his voice to a wide array of characters in numerous popular anime series that have been localized for the French market. He is notably the regular French voice of the demon butler Sebastian Michaelis, a role he has performed in Black Butler, Black Butler 2, Black Butler: Book of Murder, and Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic. He is also recognized for his work in the Tokyo Ghoul franchise, where he voices the character Nishiki Nishio. His other prominent anime roles include Yuri Petrov, also known as Lunatic, in both seasons of Tiger & Bunny, and Aoshi Sanada in the series Orient. His filmography further includes roles such as Ikeda Zenjirô in Miss Hokusai, Schneizel El Britannia in Code Geass, Akechi Mitsuhide in Sengoku Basara: The Last Party, and both Kaworu Nagisa and Shigeru Aoba in the Rebuild of Evangelion films. Beyond these, his voice can be heard in long-running and popular series as Shintaro Midorima in Kuroko's Basketball and as Hisoka in Hunter x Hunter (2011). He has also contributed to the dubs of numerous films in the Detective Conan franchise and has voiced characters in series such as Bleach, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, and Initial D.

A versatile performer, Montalto's career also includes work in animated series outside of anime, such as providing voices for multiple characters, including Toad and various Koopalings, in adaptations of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World.
