Momoko is a transgender woman from the anime Shangri-La who describes herself as the eternal 28-year-old. Before her transition, she was a well-known judoka, and she retains a high level of athleticism and a natural talent for combat. Her weapon of choice is a whip that stays coiled around her arm until she activates it. She has the unusual ability to discern what kind of life a person has lived simply by observing their body shape. Momoko has a flamboyant and outgoing personality, with a strong romantic interest in men; she sometimes initiates aggressive or uncomfortable physical encounters, such as forcing kisses on soldiers. She was formerly the manager of a transgender pub called Tropical Fish in Roppongi, which she later had to abandon, and is a co-owner of the establishment alongside her friend Miiko, whom she often teases.
