Nozel Silva is the eldest son of House Silva, one of the three royal families of the Clover Kingdom, and serves as the captain of the Silver Eagles, a squad of Magic Knights. He is a slender man with fair skin, narrow purple eyes, and pale silver-white hair styled into a distinctive braid that features a small cross attached to the tip of his bangs, a symbol of his resolve. He is extremely proud and appears cool and composed, but he harbors a deep hatred of losing and is very strict with both himself and his subordinates. His harsh treatment of his younger sister Noelle Silva early in the story stems from a painful family secret: their mother, Acier Silva, died from a curse cast by the devil Megicula while giving birth to Noelle. To protect Noelle from the truth and from the danger of speaking about the curse, Nozel coldly distanced himself and scolded her, believing that her lack of magical control would put her at greater risk. Over time, as Noelle grows stronger and proves herself, Nozel acknowledges her abilities and eventually reveals the truth, leading to a reconciliation. He fights alongside her to defeat Megicula, showing his protective nature. Nozel is a rival of Fuegoleon Vermillion, with the two having grown up together and forged a friendly rivalry that pushes both to improve. He is also the older brother of Nebra Silva and Solid Silva, and a cousin to Mimosa Vermillion. As a mage, Nozel wields Mercury Magic, a rare attribute that allows him to generate and manipulate mercury with precise mana control, blending offense and defense seamlessly. His spells include Silver Rain, which creates a large-scale downpour of mercury; Silver Spear, which forms a dense spear to hurl at enemies; Silver Bullet, a rapid projectile; Silver Sword, multiple homing swords; Silver Imperial Spear, a massive spear; and Silver Star of Execution, which creates a cage of mercury from which he can launch attacks from any direction. He also develops Silver Guardian, a close-range defensive spell that coats his body in a protective layer of concentrated mercury, though the substance is toxic and causes pain to the user. Nozel's role in the story evolves from a seemingly arrogant royal into a key ally who supports the protagonists during the elf reincarnation arc and the Spade Kingdom invasion, ultimately fighting alongside his siblings to protect the kingdom and honor their mother's legacy.
