Imtiaz Ul-Haque, also known as Imtiaz Haque, is a German voice actor born on May 26, 1977 in Cologne, Germany. Before his voice acting career, he trained as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant and was active in Berlin during the 1990s as a rapper, DJ, producer, and event organizer. In 2005, he founded the hip-hop label Nobel Noise Records. He has worked extensively as a dubbing and voice actor since 2002, specializing in multicultural accents including Indian and Pakistani dialects, and he speaks Hindi, Urdu, and English fluently alongside German. He has recorded over four hundred voice roles across films, television series, video games, radio plays, and commercials.
In anime and animated productions, Ul-Haque is known as the German dubbing voice for Nozel Silva in the series Black Clover, the captain of the Silver Eagle squad of the Magic Knights. His other voice roles in animation include the role of Roach in the series Our Flag Means Death, Vijay Patel in the Nickelodeon animated series Sanjay & Craig, and the character Indian Chutney in the animated film Sausage Party. Beyond animation, his extensive live-action dubbing work includes providing the German voice for actors such as Dev Patel in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and its sequel, Ali Fazal in Victoria & Abdul, Kumail Nanjiani in Sex Tape, and Karan Soni as Pavitar Prabahka, the Indian Spider-Man, in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He has also voiced roles for actors including Rizwan Manji, Samba Schutte, and Amit Shah across numerous television series and films.
His performance in the series Sort Of, where he voiced the character Imran, received the German Dubbing Award in 2023.
