Matteo Zanotti is an Italian voice actor born in Mantua on February 22, 1966, widely recognized for his prolific work in dubbing animated series, films, and video games for the Italian market. His career is grounded in formal training at the Accademia dei Filodrammatici in Milan, which he completed in 1991, and includes stage experience, having performed in productions with Nobel laureate Dario Fo.

Zanotti's filmography in animation is extensive and spans numerous popular franchises. He is perhaps best known for providing the Italian voice of Shikamaru Nara across the entire Naruto series, including Naruto Shippūden and multiple associated films. His repertoire also includes significant roles in My Hero Academia, where he voices both the pro-hero Rock Lock and the villain Atsuhiro Sako, also known as Mr. Compress. He has contributed to other major series such as Great Pretender as Seiji, Shaman King (2021) as Mosuke, and DanMachi III as Gran.
