Description
"Save Me! Lollipop" centers on Nina Yamada, a high school girl who accidentally swallows two magical candies meant for two wizards-in-training, Zero and Ichii. These candies are essential for their final exam at the Magical World Academy, and without them, they cannot graduate. To retrieve the candies, Zero and Ichii transform into children to blend into the human world and stay close to Nina, as the candies will eventually pass through her system. The trio forms an unlikely partnership, with Nina helping the wizards navigate the human world while they protect her from magical mishaps and rival wizards.
Zero is a brash and confident wizard with a fiery personality, while Ichii is calm, collected, and more methodical. Their contrasting personalities often lead to comedic clashes, especially as they compete for Nina’s affection. Nina, initially overwhelmed by the magical chaos, gradually becomes more involved in their world, forming bonds with both wizards. The series explores their daily lives as they face challenges from other magical beings, including jealous classmates and powerful adversaries who seek to exploit the candies’ power.
The narrative balances lighthearted humor, magical adventures, and moments of emotional depth as the characters grow closer. Themes of friendship, loyalty, and self-discovery are woven into the story, with Nina learning to embrace her role in the wizards’ lives while Zero and Ichii confront their own insecurities and aspirations. The series concludes with the resolution of the candy dilemma, but not without leaving room for the characters’ relationships to evolve further. The blend of fantasy, comedy, and romance makes "Save Me! Lollipop" a charming and engaging story.
