Hidenobu Kiuchi is a Japanese voice actor born on February 5, 1969, in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent management firm Office Osawa. Before entering the voice acting industry, Kiuchi worked as a stage actor. His transition to voice acting occurred when a senior colleague from his theatre days became involved with an animation production company, providing him with an opportunity in the field. He began his voice acting career in 1996.

Kiuchi is known for his versatile vocal range, capable of portraying a wide variety of characters, from cool and collected individuals to passionate and comedic roles. He is also known for speaking with a Kansai dialect. Among his industry friends are fellow voice actors Tsuda Kenjiro, Okiayu Ryotaro, and Kusao Takeshi. In 2025, he won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the 19th Seiyu Awards.

Kiuchi has portrayed a significant number of leading and prominent roles across a wide variety of anime series. Some of his most notable performances include Dr. Kenzo Tenma in Monster, Hei in Darker than Black, Ren Honjo in Nana, and Hol Horse in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. He is also well-regarded for his long-running roles as the skilled and composed Yuushi Oshitari in The Prince of Tennis, the passionate and energetic Ryohei Sasagawa in Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, and Shisui Uchiha in Naruto Shippuden. In addition to these, he has taken on lead roles in series such as Jose in Gunslinger Girl and Hematite Ramsbeckite in Cluster Edge. His filmography includes a wide array of other characters, such as Dietfried Bougainvillea in Violet Evergarden, Grevil de Blois in Gosick, Franklin in Hunter × Hunter (2011 series), and the young King Bradley in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. In more recent years, he has continued to take on new roles, including Kensuke Toriumi in Tesla Note and Brando in the ONA Pluto.

Beyond anime, Kiuchi is highly active in video game voice acting. He is notably the Japanese voice of Ethan Winters, the protagonist of the survival horror games Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village. His other prominent game roles include Wingul in Tales of Xillia, Sahad in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, and Merkava in the Under Night In-Birth series. He has also reprised his anime role of Hol Horse in several JoJo's Bizarre Adventure video games.

Kiuchi is also the regular Japanese dubbing voice for American actor Paul Rudd. He provides the voice for Rudd's portrayal of Scott Lang / Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, beginning with Ant-Man and continuing in subsequent movies like Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Avengers: Endgame. His extensive dubbing work also includes providing the Japanese voice for Victor Van Dort (Johnny Depp) in Corpse Bride, the Fifth Brother (Sung Kang) in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and characters in numerous other foreign films and television series. In 2008, he was the first Japanese voice actor to be a guest of honor at an anime convention in Australia.
