Alongside Ryuuki, Shuurei interacts with a diverse cast of characters, including Seiran Shi, her loyal childhood friend and adopted brother, who harbors secrets of his own. As the story progresses, Shuurei’s influence grows, and she becomes increasingly involved in the empire’s political affairs. Her efforts to reform the government and improve the lives of the people often put her at odds with powerful factions within the court.
