Russell Wait is an American voice actor born on 15 February 1977 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is widely recognized for his extensive work in English dubs of Japanese anime series, particularly for dubs produced by the anime television network Animax Asia.

Wait has portrayed a wide array of characters across numerous anime series. Among his most prominent roles is the lead character of Black Jack in the television special Black Jack Special: The 4 Miracles of Life. He is also known for his work in long-running and popular series, such as playing multiple characters in Inuyasha, including Koga, Naraku, and Sesshomaru for the Animax dub. In the series Ghost Stories, he voiced the character Amanojaku. His other notable credits include the role of Shi Seiran in The Story of Saiunkoku, Takaya Abe in Big Windup!, and the title character Dr. Dokkiri in Dokkiri Doctor.

His voice acting career is closely associated with the English-language dubs produced by Animax for broadcast in Southeast Asia and South Asia. For this network, he provided voices for a vast number of series, taking on leading roles such as Ban Mido in Getbackers, Batou in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Father Abel Nightroad in Trinity Blood, Kazuma Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files, and Eikichi Onizuka in GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka.
