Description
Gwang-Ju Jeon is a South Korean voice actor who began his career in 1997 as a member of the 3rd class of the Daekyo Broadcasting voice actor association. He is recognized for a soft and youthful vocal tone that has made him a frequent choice for dubbing young male characters in animated series and special effects films.

His voice work in anime dubbing includes several prominent roles. He voiced Kaoru Hitachiin, one of the mischievous twins in the popular series Ouran High School Host Club. In the series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, he took on the role of Itsuki Koizumi. He was also the voice for Ryuuren Ran in both the first and second series of The Story of Saiunkoku, and for the character Doushu in the second series of the same show. Beyond anime, Jeon is widely known for being the Korean voice of Squidward in the long-running series SpongeBob SquarePants. His career is also notable for an extensive body of work in tokusatsu, or special effects, television dramas. He is one of a small number of voice actors to have dubbed leading roles in all three of Japan's major special effects franchises: the Kamen Rider series, the Super Sentai series, and the Ultra Series. Examples of this work include voicing Retsu in Power Rangers Wild Spirit and Shin Asuka in Ultraman Dyna.

Throughout his career, Jeon has been a recurring presence in the dubbing of animated series for Daekyo Broadcasting and has frequently collaborated with fellow voice actor Eom Sang-hyun, with their work together on Ouran High School Host Club being particularly well-received by fans. His voice has also been featured in educational contexts, such as in listening comprehension sections of South Korean high school academic achievement tests.
