Nobuo Terashima, commonly called Nobu, is a central character in the anime series Nana and appears in its live-action sequel Nana 2. He was born on January 23, 1981, and comes from a well-off family; his parents own a traditional inn. Despite this comfortable background, Nobu chooses to pursue a life in music rather than take over the family business. He is the guitarist and composer for the punk band Black Stones, also known as Blast, and shares a deep passion for music with the band's vocalist, Nana Osaki.
