Arise Satou is a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo, born on February 1, 1984. She began her career in 2006, with early roles in the anime series Happiness! and Save Me! Lollipop. The following year, she gained wider recognition for her role as Christina Sierra in the popular series Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and for her work as an assistant on its associated radio program.
Satou has built a career with a variety of supporting roles across television anime, animated films, and video games. One of her most enduring roles is Michiko Yamakawa in the Strike Witches franchise, a character she has voiced since 2008 in multiple series and films, including Strike Witches, Strike Witches 2, Strike Witches: The Movie, and World Witches Take Off!.
