Ruri, a determined young girl, resides in a fortress city ruled by her father—a leader obsessed with reviving ancient technology by excavating an abandoned military base. His endeavors accidentally awaken long-dormant war machines, monstrous weapons that now threaten the city’s existence.

When an expedition goes awry, Ruri is separated from her father and hunted by a relic of the past: a towering humanoid weapon. She is rescued by a wandering warrior who becomes her protector, guiding her back to the besieged city. Soon after, the settlement faces a catastrophic onslaught of awakened monsters, a direct consequence of her father’s reckless pursuits.
