Description
Agan Mādoru (also romanized as Agan Mardrus) is the son of the Sand Tribe chief and heir to tribal leadership. His mother currently holds the chief position, affording him respect and command over certain tribe members, including the ability to summon the Mole Tribe in combat. A childhood friendship with a Feral individual soured into hostility upon their adult reunion, driving him to join the human resistance group, the Golden Lions. He rose to second-in-command within the Golden Lions before departing after a betrayal by a member.

His backstory includes a childhood friendship with Morte. However, the anime adaptation alters this dynamic significantly: here, he works as a smuggler or courier piloting a ship across the Sandsea, initially having no prior connection to Morte. He repeatedly encounters the World Destruction Committee by chance during deliveries. Presenting himself as primarily profit-driven, he agrees to transport individuals only if paid, often earning him suspicion. Despite this, he consistently appears at crucial moments to aid the group.

Physically, he is an 18-year-old male with red hair reaching his ears, violet eyes, and a facial marking of two crossed arrows. His typical attire includes a green naval cap, a long green overcoat with a single tail brushing the floor, an orange turtleneck shirt, blue pants with a belt, and boots. In combat, he specializes in wielding a whip and is the sole party member proficient in Earth Blood Skills. These skills enable him to create sandstorms, blinding or choking toxic mists, and launch projectile attacks like Desert Horn. His exclusive Life Skills allow him to construct temporary stone barriers blocking physical and magical damage and provide speed enhancements to allies.

Personality-wise, he generally maintains a laid-back and cheerful demeanor but possesses a short temper, especially when provoked by enemies. He shares the distinction of being the most mature member within his group, demonstrating leadership potential through commanding tribal respect and tactical skill use in battle.
