Description
Pandora's Actor is a supporting character in Isekai Quartet 3, originating from the Overlord series. He is an NPC created personally by Momonga, the being known in that series as Ainz Ooal Gown. Within his home setting, he serves as the Guardian of the Treasury of the Great Tomb of Nazarick and as its chief financial officer, giving him responsibility for the maintenance of Nazarick and of the guild Ainz Ooal Gown.
His appearance reflects what his creator once considered stylish: he has an oval, largely featureless head with only three hole-like openings on his face, and he wears a distinctive military-style uniform. His manner is theatrical, exaggerated, and jolly, and his flamboyant gestures and speech frequently embarrass his creator. Despite this outward extravagance, he is highly practical, intelligent, and tactically capable. Unlike many other NPCs who follow orders without question, he asks clarifying questions and offers suggestions when useful, which makes him a dependable executor of his master's intentions.
His central motivation is devotion to his father, Ainz Ooal Gown. He wishes to do everything possible to help him, and his loyalty is absolute; he would even act against other members of the guild if his creator ordered it. In Isekai Quartet 3, he appears in a supporting role among the residents of Nazarick, with his relationship with Ainz and his dramatic temperament shaping much of his presence in the series.
As a greater doppelgänger, his most notable ability is transformation. He can assume up to forty-five different forms, including the appearances and abilities of all forty-one Supreme Beings of the guild Ainz Ooal Gown. While transformed, he can use the copied abilities at up to eighty percent of their full strength, though with some penalties to his own attributes. This versatility makes him one of the most adaptable defenders of Nazarick, even if his raw power is not equal to that of some other guardians. Ainz also relies on this ability to have Pandora's Actor pose as the hero Momon whenever both Ainz and Momon need to appear in the same place at the same time.
